A Māori illustration book sharing a visual story of how Nukutawhiti arrived to Aotearoa written in Te Reo Māori.
24 glorious pages of vibrant colour with illustrations created by local rangatahi māori of Hokianga under the tutelage of local artists Bobby MacDonald and Amiria Puia-Taylor with the support and guidance of Matua Shane Wikaira on behalf of the late Matua Hirini M M Wikaira. Produced through a series of waananga koorero at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori ō Hokianga as a part of Tū Maia Tū Kaha Arts Leadership Programme 2021 with the support of Creatives in Schools funding provided by Ministry of Education & Creative New Zealand
